It is so hard to find an offshore-gambling related thread on here anymore!!!!

shrink - this place has become very annoying because you go to the offshore forum and you have to SEARCH for a gambling related thread. what can we do about this problem?

I know this might be surprising but I actually agree with ID on this issue. I don't know if he really cares about it or is just bringing it up to start trouble but on paper he has a good point.

Yep, ID has a valid point (unfortunately, her valid point was sent directly to The Rubber Room, instead of staying for discussion in Offshore). Just because some of the Mods don't like ID doesn't justify sending all of her threads to The Rubber Room.

I don't have a problem with general sports threads, because that is obviously related to sports gambling. General stories about casinos, bookies getting arrested, Las Vegas, Atlantic City, etc? Once again, that is directly related to gambling. But the last several weeks, the Offshore forum has been flooded with topics that have ZERO relation to sportsbooks, sports, casinos, gambling, etc.

If people want to discuss their desire to star in a porn flick, that's cool. But threads like that belong in The Rubber Room!

Or maybe create another room, The Lounge. People can "lounge" around and discuss movies, TV shows, their relationships, their favorite food, their waist size, their small penis, etc.

I don't like the bashing that is allowed on the site but if it is here to stay then I'd suggest they do the following.

General Discussion Forum:

Any non sports topics discussed here only!

Rubber Room:

Bashing zone as it is now

Offshore books & casinos:

Talk about books & casinos only!

Handicapping Forums:

as they are now

EGD - I have to agree with you, while guilty every now and then of posting an inane thread myself I wouldn't mind seeing a general forum with an overall sports theme but open to other subjects. Another froum altogether for STRICTLY gambling/sportbook/casino threads.

Politics can stay like it is as can the RR and the handicapping forums.
